Restoration at Progetto Mercurio. Presentation done by Sara Landini

Professor Sara Landini, Chair of Economic Law at the University of Florence, played a prominent role in the recent meeting "Insurance in Agriculture in the Era of Climate Change" held at the University of Salerno. The conference, which took place on February 2, 2024, in the "Pecoraro" lecture hall, was attended by numerous experts in the field of commercial law, agricultural economics, and risk management in insurance.

During this significant event, Professor Landini presented her innovative volume "Insurance Solutions for the Resilience of Agricultural Enterprises to Climatic Risk", a publication that critically emphasizes the need for effective insurance strategies to counter the increasingly devastating effects of climate change on the agricultural sector. The book, a result of the "Restoration" project, provides a comprehensive analysis and proposes practical solutions for agricultural companies facing natural disasters and catastrophic risks.

Professor Landini's contribution was met with great interest by professionals, confirming her role as a key figure in research and innovation in the field of agricultural law and insurance. The presentation also provided an opportunity to discuss the latest trends and future challenges that professionals in the field are facing.

The event featured distinguished personalities including Professor Francesco Fasolino, Director of the Department of Legal Sciences at the University of Salerno, and Hon. Franco Picarone, President of the Budget Committee of the Campania Region.
